Chris has problems. He's in a mental care facility for reasons he doesn't entirely understand. Medication and a dedicated doctor have helped him to begin realizing the truth about some very dark things in his recent past. He learns how sick he truly is, and that people are dead by his hand, because of his illness. This realization brings about a desire in him to apologize for what he has done.
After facing rejection from many, one woman is willing to hear him. What transpires in their conversation is true forgiveness, and it sends him on another frightening journey-- a journey to discover what she meant when she spoke of God's willingness to forgive.
Struggles with medication, a battle for the right to read a Bible, and his determination to share the hope of Christ through a book he is writing are some of the tasks he faces, tasks which would be hard enough from someone not struggling to retain his sanity. But his hope in redemption brings him to an understanding of what real belief and forgiveness actually are.
